ich treffe eine gruppe indischer ingenieure ... supernette boys!i´m meeting a group of indian engineers ... terribly nice guys!
diese aufforderung ist überflüssig ...this advice is needless ...
... der schaut nicht so aus, als ob er gerne gestreichelt werden würde!...it doesn´t look as if it would be pleased by a gentle touch!

der palast ist riesig ... welche pracht ... um welchen preis ... the palace is huge ... what a magnificence ... at what cost ...
die jungs wollen unbedingt fotografiert werden!the boys want me to take a picture of them!
und natürlich mache ich auch ein foto vom postkarten-verkäufer!and of course a take a picture of the postcard vendor!

... und damit´s keine eifersüchteleien gibt, fotografiere ich natürlch auch diese hübschen ladies!... i don´t wanna give rise to jeaulousness, therefore i´m taking pictures from these pretty ladies, too!

ich habe einen sehr bemühten führer, der mich in die geheimnisse des tempels einweiht und mich fotografiert (nachdem er zuvor genaue instruktionen gegeben hat, welche haltung ich einzunehmen habe, mir die bluse zugeknöpft und die haare gerichtet hat ... ja das leben eines modells ist nicht ohne, hihi!)i have a guide who´s anxious to let me in on the secrets of the temple and who´s taking pictures of me (not without giving instructions how i have to strike a pose, after buttoning up my blouse and straightening my hair, hihi!)

1000 stufen führen hinauf zum tempel ...ich bin eine faule pilgerin - hinauf bin ich mit dem bus gefahren, dafür pilgere ich jetzt hinunter...

i´m a lazy pilgrim - i went up the hill by bus, but now i make my pilgrimage downstairs...
... und komme bei NANDI (shivas bulle) vorbei!... and i´m passing by NANDI (shiva´s bull)!
auch wenn ich nur bergab gehe, mir ist trotzdem heiss - und daher brauche ich eine erfrischung ... köstlicher zuckerrohrsaft mit zitrone und ingwer!though i´m only walking down the hill i´m hot - so i need a refreshment ... a delicious sugar cane juice with lemon and ginger!
