ich pfeiff aufs geld und bleib im nationalpark! ich beziehe ein riesenzimmer...i give a damn about the money and keep staying in the national park! i´m moving into a big room...
...mit aussicht auf sonnenuntergang (und vollmond) über der sierra nevada......with a view of the sunset (and full moon) at sierra nevada...
im frühtau zu berge ich zieh durch einen riesenstamm ... in the early morning i´m hiking through a huge tree trunk...
...und erreiche den "hanging rock" ...and reach the "hanging rock"
...von dem aus mein zielort in auge rückt: der "moro rock"...from that point i can see my final destination: the "moro-rock"
400 stufen führen hinauf auf die spitze des riesen-granitblocks - vorbei an diesem gebilde ... sieht aus wie eine hand, die einen apfel hält (oder was auch immer man darin entdecken kann!)400 steps are leading up to the top of this mighty granite-rock - passing by at this sculpture ... it looks like a hand that´s holding an apple (or what ever you´re guessing!)
da schau! dachte ich doch, ich geniesse allein den wunderbaren ausblick...hey there! i thought i´m enjoying by myself this terrific view...
western divide ... dahinter befindet sich nochmals eine bergkette - bei sehr guter fernsicht kann man den höchsten berg der sierra nevada, den mt. whitney (4421m) sehen!western divide...behind these mountains there´s another mountain range - on a clear day you can see the highest mountain of the sierra nevada, mt. whitney (14505 feet)!
