go san francisco card - day 1

kurz nach meiner ankunft in s.f. habe ich eine sightseeing-karte für 3 (aufeinanderfolgende) tage besorgt - nachdem ich nur mehr zwei wochen in san francisco bin, habe ich mich für dieses wochenende entschieden!

shortly after my arrival in s.f. i bought a sightseeing-card (to be used on 3 consecutive days) - only two more weeks left in san francisco i decided to use the card this weekend!

... und nun folgen die unvermeidlichen "blumen-fotos" - susanne hat sich wahrscheinlich schon gewundert, dass ich gar so zurückhaltend bin!

danach ein besuch im museum "palace of the legion of honor" - bemerkenswerte sammlung von gemälden - von tintoretto bis andy warhol; am meisten haben mich aber die statuen von auguste rodin beeindruckt, einfach sensationell!

right afterwards i visited the museum "palace of the legion of honor" - there is a remarkable collection of works of art - from tintoretto to andy warhol. the statues of auguste rodin impressed me deeply, they´re amazing!

im vorhof des museums wird gerade ein zelt aufgebaut - inmitten des durcheinanders kommt die statue noch viel besser zur geltung!

at the front court there is a tent being pitched - amidst the mess the statue even better comes into its own!
