good bye san francisco

ob ich es glauben will oder nicht - es ist soweit, nur noch eine nacht in san francisco und dann geht meine wahre reise erst richtig los. vielleicht gerade deswegen bin ich heute super-sentimental! ich dachte nicht, dass mir der abschied so schwer fallen wird.
ich habe ungemein tolle menschen kennen gelernt, die nicht nur klug sind, sondern auch ein hohes mass an herzensbildung haben! das tut ungemein gut!
diese acht wochen waren erfüllt mit freude, erkenntnissen und begegnungen - ich konnte geben und empfangen...und irgendwie ist es gut, dass ich nun schweren herzens abreise. das bedeutet, dass ich gelebt, wirklich gelebt habe...
nachfolgend noch einige letzte impressionen aus san francisco!

if i´m believing or not - the time has come, just one more night in san francisco and then i start my real trip! maybe that´s the reason why i´m sooo sad! i didn´t think that saying good bye will be so hard for me.
i met so fantastic people who´re not just smart but also have a nobleness of heart! that´s tremendously good!
these eight weeks were full of joy, findings and and encounters - it was a kind of giving and receiving ... and somehow it´s o.k. that i´m leaving with a heavy heart. it means i´ve lived, i´ve lived substantially...
in the following you will find my last impressions of san francisco!

am mittwoch war ich mit meinen schulfreunden in der oper! wir bezahlten 25$ für plätze, die 250$ wert sind - sensationell, wir saßen im ersten rang mitte! war absolute spitzenklasse - die sänger, das orchester, das bühnenbild, die kostüme!

on wednesday my schoolfriends and i went to the opera! we bought tickets at a value of 250$ with a price of 25$ - it was gorgeous, we sat at grand tier in the middle! it was a top class performance - the singers, the orchestra, the stage setting, the costumes!

wer war zuerst? das linzer lentos oder die s.f. city hall? (für nicht-linzer: das museum lentos wird bei nacht entweder in pink oder blau beleuchtet)

which one one was first? the lentos in linz or the city hall in s.f.? (for all non linz-residents: lentos is a museum in my hometown linz and it is (well*)lit either by pinkish (!)* or blueish (!) light)

art hat geburtstag und nachdem sie bald ihren toefl-test zu absolvieren hat, schenken wir ihr zwei englisch-bücher (wär ja schrecklich, wenn der lernstoff ausginge!)

it´s art´s birthday - the date of her toefl-test is in the near future therefore she gets two english books as a birthday present (how terrible, if there would be not enough learning matter!)

art tischt auf ... diverseste köstlichkeiten aus thailand - ich habe wieder einmal viel zu viel gegessen! wie schaffen das die thais, dass sie so dünn bleiben? ich weiss noch nicht so recht, wann ich all die kilos, die ich in s.f. zugenommen habe, abnehmen werde!

art is dishing up ... a variety of delicious thai food - as so often i ate too much! what is the secret of the thais that they stay so slim? i´m not quite sure when i´m going to slim down all the kilos i gained in s.f.!
