back in chiang mai...

tom aus new york, xenia aus berlin und fred aus seattle

diese drei ausgesprochen netten menschen habe ich am meditationskurs kennen gelernt...

these three lovely people i met at the meditation retreat...

... unsere "rückkehr ins irdische leben" ...

... our "return to earth"...




... haben wir mit fast himmlischer jazz-musik sehr genossen...

... we celebrated with almost heavenly jazz-music...


jeder musiker für sich ...

each musician...




... ist einsame spitzenklasse!

... is top class!






die haben wirklich gefühl für musik ...

they´ve got a feeling for music...






... und dies ist nicht nur zu hören, sondern auch zu sehen!

... and that´s not only to be heard but it´s also in his looks!




was für ein wunderschöner abend!

what a wonderful evening!




kaum zu erraten ... er ist unser absoluter favorit!

hardly to guess ... he´s our top favorite!



das ist john aus irgendwo in usa - er lebt aber schon seit zwei jahren hier in chiang mai ... dieser ort wimmelt nur so von pensionierten oder "ausgestiegenen" amis!

this is john from somewhere in the us - he has been living in chiang mai for two years ... this town is full of retired or "dropped out" americans!

nach einem ausgiebigen frühstück mit fred und xenia mache ich mich auf den weg...

after having an ample breakfast with fred and xenia i´m hitting the road...


... vorbei an allerlei spezereien ...

along a range of fancy foods ...




...und anderen feinheiten...

...and other fancy stuff ....




ich bin nicht alleine unterwegs!

i´m not the only one on the road!






aber kein wunder - das muss man gesehen haben!

but no wonder - this you must have seen!






dieses wochenende ist das blumen-festival in chiang mai!

this weekend there´s the flower festival in chiang mai!




unglaublich ...

unbelievable...






wieviele stunden arbeit muss das gewesen sein?

how many hours of work did they spend?






und für einen blumenfreund wie mich ...

and for a flower lover like me ...




...ist das ...

... this is just ...






... ein paradies!

... paradise!






aber nicht nur die blumen sind wunderschön in thailand ...

in thailand there not only the flowers are beautiful...





... sondern auch die menschen!

... but also the people!






zum abschluss drehe ich noch eine runde im park!
