ich entscheide mich, mit dem boot nach SIEM REAP zu fahren ... das schaut aber nicht unbedingt wie ein boot aus! Ja, es ist winter und sehr, sehr wenig wasser im fluss ... sodass wir mit dem pickup eine stock-und-stein-tour entlang des flusses machen (mein po sieht aus wie ein modernes gemälde!)i decide to go by boat to SIEM REAP ... but honestly, does this look like a boat? oh yeah, it´s winter time and there´s very little water in the river ... so we have to take the pickup along the river, over rough and smooth (my bottom looks like a modern painting!)
wir erreichen nach ungefähr 20maliger zeitangabe "nur noch 5 minuten" die schiffsanlegestelle ... und grundeln die ersten kilometer mehr im schlammigen grund als im wasser...after we were told about 20 times "only 5 more minutes" we finally approached at the shipping peer ... and the first kilometres we´re actually more touching the muddy ground than anything else...
die touristenboote sind für die kinder eine willkommene abwechslung!the tourist-boats are a welcome relief!
ich habe in den dörfer schon sehr viel armut gesehen, aber diese fischer leben in verhältnissen ... dafür finde ich keine worte.i´ve seen much poverty in the villages, but the living conditions of the fisher people ... i cannot find a word for that.

die fischernetz-konstruktionen wirken primitiv, sind aber das genaue gegenteil ... das ergebnis jahrzehntelanger erfahrung ... einfach sensationell!the fishing net structure seems primitive, aber it´s the complete opposite ... the result of decades of experience ... just sensational!
