dieser "katamaran" lag eben noch in seinen bestandteilen am strand ...minutes before the component parts of this "catamaran" were lying at the beach ...
... und nun wird diese sensationelle konstruktion ......and now this sensational construction is...
... mit vereinten kräften ins meer geschoben!... towed towards the sea with concentrated forces!
und wir haben riesiges glück ... es ist ein herrlicher morgen, eine leichte brise weht, die sonne scheint ...and we´ve got such good luck ... it´s a wonderful morning with a moderate breeze and sunshine ...
...und wir ziehen gemächlich an den palmenstränden vorbei!... and we´re slowly passing by the palm lined beaches!
wir treffen einen fischer und schauen mal, was der gerade gefangen hat ...we´re meeting a fisherman and see what he caught ...

... der alte mann und das meer ... das ist eines meiner lieblingsfotos!... the old man and the sea ... this is one of my favorite pictures!
das ist herr ospangaren (oder so ähnlich!) - er ist muscheltaucher (taucht 20m tief!) und kennt das meer wie seine westentasche ... vor allem den meeresboden! es ist faszinierend!this ist mr. ospangaren (or alike!) - he´s a mussel diver (he´s diving a depth of 20 metres!) and he knows the sea like the back of his hands ... especially the seabed! it´s so fascinating!

das ist noch natürlicher fischfang ... leider haben wir schon des öfteren die dynamit-fischer gehört ... es ist zwar verboten, doch leider halten sich einige nicht daran ... und zerstören ihre eigene existenzgrundlage ... this is the natural way of fishing ... unfortunately sometimes we heard the sound of dynamite fishing ... it´s forbidden but not everybody is obeying the laws ... and they´re destroying their own livelihood ...
diese netze sind riesig ...these flues are huge ...
wie wenig man eigentlich braucht ... zu wasser und zu land ... das habe ich in asien und im speziellen in indien gelernt!actually how little you need ... by sea and by land ... this i learnt in asia and particularly in india!
es geht wieder zurück zur coconut bay!we´re heading back to the coconut bay!
was für ein sensationeller ausflug!what a sensational excursion!
