da brennt´s ja wirklich - und der boden ist so heiss ... wäre ein gutes übungsfeld für fakire und sonstige abenteurer!

and indeed, it´s burning - the ground is so hot ... it would be a good exercising field for fakirs and other adventurers!

die fliegen fühlen sich leider auch hier pudelwohl - kein mensch hat mir gesagt, dass es in australien nur so von fliegen wimmelt ... und ehrlich, die sind penetrant!

unfortunately here the flies are enjoying their live, too - nobody has told me that whole australia is abound with flies ... and honestly they´re annoying!

australien ist ein paradies für vogelliebhaber ... bin ich ja nicht so unbedingt!
anscheinend merken das meine "fliegenden freunde" - bei meiner wanderung zum brennenden berg hat mich ein hysterischer riesenvogel beinahe attackiert ... was weiss ich, wahrscheinlich bin ich in sein territorium eingedrungen! ihr könnt mir glauben, der hat mir einen super-schreck eingejagt!

australia is a paradise for birdwatchers ...actually i´m not really a friend of birds!
and it seems that my "flying friends" are aware of that ... while i was hiking in the burning mountain surroundings i was nearly attacked by a hysterical huge bird ... i don´t know - maybe i entered its territory! but believe me, i´ve got a big shock!

okay, ganz so alleine bin ich nun auch wieder nicht! sind sie nicht süß, die beiden? ich bin total verliebt in känguruhs!
