ich habe den namen dieses baumes vergessen - interessantes gewächs!i forgot the name of this tree - it´s an interesting plant!
es verstreut seine samen nur bei einem sogenannten "kalten feuer", wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, darf es nicht zu einem richtigen waldbrand kommen, denn dann verbrennen die samen!it scatters its seeds only in the case of a so called "cold fire" - if i understood right, then it is necessary that there´s not a real fire, because in that case the seeds will burn!
und nachdem ich die letzten tage überwiegend in hostels gewohnt habe, gönne ich mir dieses wochenende wieder einmal ein bisschen luxus!and because of spending the last days in hostels i´m indulging myself in a little bit of luxury this weekend!

da gehe ich doch mal lieber spazieren und bewundere die mangroven-bäume!so i prefer going for a walk and admire the mangrove trees!
hier ist also kapitän james cook 1770 gelandet...daher heißt der ort auch TOWN OF 1770!here captain james cook landed in 1770...therfore this village is called TOWN OF 1770!
kurzer besuch am AWOONGO-Seea short visit at the lake AWOONGO
in ROCKHAMPTON merkt man, dass hier einst reiche leute wohnten - es war zwischen 1860 und 1890 der umschlagshafen für gold und kupfer! heute ist "rocky" die "rindfleisch-hauptstadt von queensland, mehr als 2 millionen rinder grasen im umkreis vom 250 km!in ROCKHAMPTON you can recognize that this town was once inhabited by rich people - between 1860 and 1890 it was the trading port for gold and copper! nowadays "rocky" is the beef capital of queensland, more than 2 million of the beasts are living within a 250 km radius of the town!
